Dutch born Bristol based singer-songwriter and composer Sean Christopher releases his beautiful new single ‘Indigo Blue’ on April 3rd through Dumont Dumont (Charlie Cunningham, RY X, Josin, ViVii). Lush soundscapes abound in this latest release from his upcoming second album ‘Wander’ which is set for release on May 29th.
Speaking about the track Sean explains, “Today nobody knows what the future holds.Indigo Blue’ will be released in these uncertain times. A song about love and how love can transcend everything. When I actively started to meditate, I read about Indigo; the colour of wisdom, intuition, perception and creativity. Virtues that will show us the way.”
‘Indigo Blue’ is the third single to be released from ‘Wander’ and the follow-up to recent single ‘Our Home’ and ‘OHEJA’, which according to Atwood Magazine “If “Oheja” offers any insight into what Sean Christopher has in store for us, then we can all expect a slew of music that will take our breath far and away.”
An alumni of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and Codarts in Rotterdam, where he studied music production, Sean began creating music for films and commercials immediately after graduating. His song ‘Everything’ (2014), composed and produced for an international car commercial, reached over a million streams on Spotify.
Despite this early success, rather than continue composing music for others, Sean wanted to write songs for himself. He built himself a basement studio and began to experiment with instruments and production.
Relocating from The Hague to Bristol two years ago, Sean signed a record deal with Swedish label Dumont Dumont, home to artists including Charlie Cunningham, ViVii, Josin and Daniel Trakell.

‘The Impossible Dream (The Quest)’ is a song composed by Mitch Leigh, with lyrics written by Joe Darion. The song is the most popular song in the 1965 Broadway musical ‘Man of La Mancha’ (Don Quixote) and is also featured in the 1972 film with the same name starring Peter O’Toole.
Notable renditions of the song have been made by Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Elvis Presley, Glenn Campbell, The Temptations with The Supremes, Roberta Flack and many more.
