Treat others the way you want to be treated

The ability to make someone smile can have long lasting effects. By simply saying “Hello” or offering a helping hand you are able to change someone’s entire day for the positive. One of RADA’s basic objectives is to help shift people’s perspectives and create a bette understanding of others through various monthly campaigns.

For the month of April we focus on the service industry and those who serve us on a daily basis such as waiters, petrol attendants, domestic workers, cashiers, the police, nurses etc. The service sector makes up three quarters of the employment market, meaning the majority of workers out there are faced by inconsistencies in human behaviour on a daily basis. It is human nature to project how we are feeling onto others and if this action is negative, we create a vicious cycle of negative energy.
It is our responsibility as a community to think before we act and change our behaviour from a negative one to a positive one and create a ripple effect of positive change in the world around us. Be conscious of the people you encounter and work on making a difference in those people’s lives. Slow down, communicate, take the time to listen and be more understanding. Respect those who serve.

RADA’s monthly campaigns are based on the premise that one person can make a difference and that when you change yourself, you raise your resonance, creating a ripple effect of positive change. The aim is to marry action with awareness and in turn change the way we react in different scenarios. You don’t have to be exceptional. You don’t have to exert yourself beyond your means. In the end, all it takes is to do one small thing differently, empowering others with the belief that they may do the same.

RADA UNEARTHED is the music side of RADA and focus on empowering people.

RADA Unearthed released its first album, RADA Unearthed Vol.1, in 2016 and RADA Inspire vol.1 was released in 2018 – RADA Inspire was launched to encourage the citizens of South Africa to inspire both themselves and others through various initiatives with the message that at the heart of it, RADA Inspire is about marrying action with awareness and making a difference to peoples’ lives one day at a time. It is based on the premise that one person can make a difference, and that when you change yourself, you raise your resonance, creating a ripple effect of positive change. You don’t have to be exceptional. You don’t have to exert yourself beyond your means. In the end, all it takes is to do one small thing differently, empowering others with the belief that they can do the same. Be the change. Be the way. One day at a time.

Our 3rd album RADA Inspire Vol.2 is being released this year.  The first single from the new album was released last week. “Getting Closer” by Steven Lee Lewis.

We stand together is the first track on the RADA Inspire Vol. 1 album.  The initial video was centred around RADA and our orphanage situated in Orange Farm.  Basically it was to inspire people to stand together and help those in need.

With our focus being on the service industry this month and more especially with the Covid-19 pandemic we reworked the visuals to focus on those individuals who work to serve us during this time, a thank you for their efforts.
