August is Woman’s month, We celebrate Woman

In our busy day-to-day routines, we often forget to pause and celebrate the women in our lives. Those individuals who show such incredible feminine strength, beauty, power, wisdom and intuition. Those who nourish and nurture every day and shine their light out into the world.

With August being recognised as Women’s month in South Africa and RADA’s overall vision being the protection and empowerment of women and children, RADA has embarked on a new project specifically aimed at empowering girls and keeping them in school. RADA MiPads are reusable sanitary pads with a life span of up to five years, allowing girls the freedom to feel their most amazing, beautiful, confident selves. Allowing them to connect with their inner energy, their own inner source of empowerment, creativity, strength and transformation.

A peaceful and loving environment for all begins with the (wo)man on the street. That person sitting next to you on the bus, the one who stands with you in a queue. By treating people the way you want to be treated creates a level of mutual respect, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or religion.

Women are a source of emotional and spiritual support, they are protectors and they are creators of change. RADA encourages everyone to set aside time not for judgment of others, but rather for honest reflection on the importance of the woman in your life and to provide encouragement, help and support to each one of them. Even just the smallest gesture on your part could have great repercussions, changing the world as we know it, just one day at a time.
