Infanteria single track review: Embrace The Trauma

Review Done by Duzzy Clayton

After a 7 year break from releasing anything Infanteria are back with a new single namely, Embrace the Trauma, which was released on the 3rd June 2022.

The single is the first released single off the soon to be released new album called Patriarch which is set to be released on 17th June 2022.

After a 7 year wait the band could not have picked a better track to release to the world to give die-hard fans, what they have been waiting for.

Everything about this track screams Infanteria, although as a fan of the band I can hear a few bits of the song with some experimenting of different sounds compared to what the band has released in the past, but having said that, it has got that signature Infanteria sound we have all come to love over the years.

If I was to compare this track to another band, I would say it has elements of Slayer or old Metallica or Testament, especially with the vocals which is done brilliantly by Chris Hall, vocalist, guitarist and founder of the band.

The rest of the band members namely: Tim Leibbrandt (Bass), Adrian Langeveld (Drums), also bring such energy to the song and play their parts brilliantly as well, and giving it that awesome Infanteria stamp of an approval.

The song has some dark elements especially in some of the lead solos of the song which lends to the song amazingly and the bass and drumming on the track is awesome.

I can picture myself listening to this track just before a night out to get me pumped up or excited for the evening or I can picture myself listening to this song while stuck in traffic to help pass the time.

All I can say is Infanteria is back and I for one am very excited about this new single and if this single is anything to go by, the new album is going to sound amazing and I look forward to the future and direction the band is going into.

I would like to congratulate Infanteria on a great lead single and wish the band nothing but success
