Ross Harding ‘Love & Time’

I am very excited to be introducing to you a new single by Ross Harding called ‘Love & Time’. Ross is someone who I first became aware of when he joined the band Fear of Falling. He has also been hard at work creating some great solo stuff that I am going to be talking about today.

Inspired by themes of love and time, the track itself is South African Rock music at its best, which not only showcases some great music and instruments play on the album, but also the great vocal range of Ross Harding. I am a huge fan of Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave and Ross definitely accomplishes high-note reaching similar to that of Chris Cornell.

I also enjoy Ross Harding as a lyricist. This song in its own expression and the subject he writes about is very touching and strongly resonates with me; but, in my opinion, those lyrics really become alive with the emotion and Ross’s performance.

Upon first listen to the track, I was taken aback by the emotion in Ross’ voice which certainly takes one on a journey throughout the song. I can picture myself listening to this track while I am doing my work and need a rocking song to get me in the working mood.

The track is produced by Byron Muller and was mixed by Rogan Kelsey, who, although I am not too familiar with their previous work, I am certainly taking notice of them now as I think they both did a great job accompanying Ross on the track, making the track what it is today.

‘Love & Time’ is the first released single taken from the new EP by Ross called Chapter II, which will be out later this month; and if this single is any indication of the quality of music to come from the new EP and then I cannot wait for the new EP. It is going to rock.

I see ‘Love & Time’ doing very well on rock stations all around the world and I hope stations do pick it up and give it the airplay it deserves, because it really is a great single. I think once the public get to listen to it then it will easily become a popular song in the charts.

I would like to congratulate Ross and everyone who worked on this track, as it is truly a great piece of music and I see a great future for him and cannot wait to hear what he brings out next.
