Single Review Manfred Inc- Mr. Real
I like musicians with a story, whether it be a hard upbringing and hard life, or a disability to overcome, when the future often looks bad and there is no way out, we all like a rags-to-riches story, someone who, despite the odds, overcame it and chose to take the good path and has come out for the better and is now inspiring younger generations in similar positions to do the same.
That is what I get out of Manfred Peterson, better known as Manfred Inc. Manfred grew up in the Cape flats in Cape Town, South Africa. Now, if you don’t know about the Cape flats, it is not the best place to have your childhood, with drugs, violence, and gangsterism right outside your door. Life could have easily gone a different way for Manfred, but Manfred, is the awesome, well-rounded person he is, probably because of his good upbringing. He chose music and I am glad he did because now I am an instant fan and that is after I have just heard one track, namely ‘Mr Real’ but I can already see Manfred has a talent that needs to be heard and I hope the readers of Fanbase Music magazine will go check it out after reading this review
‘Mr Real’ tells the story of a man having to convince himself to be a genuine gentleman to the lady he likes. He finds it difficult to prove his point, as she always wants to feel loved.
Upon first listening to the track, I was drawn by the positivity of the song. The music is pretty upbeat and kind of puts me in a good mood. I can hear influences or sounds similar to Ben Harper, John Legend, Jack Johnson & Bobby Alu.
didn’t Manfred’s voice is exceptional on the track. When I got to interview Manfred for my podcast which will be out on Monday, he did tell me he didn’t go for any formal training (which I think is amazing) although he did catch the eye of his choir teacher, who could back then even see Manfred had something special.
I have played this song on my radio show a few times already and it always seems to get good feedback in our chat room for the station, which is awesome news because, with it being a debut single I always wonder how the track is going to do and I have a feeling this track is going to do very well., especially on radio stations all around the world
Going back to my liking musicians with a story, Manfred is also a great busker and can be found playing in the streets of Cape Town. I think it is awesome that he does that though he has apparently been busking for years and even though life has changed for the better, he still continues to do so to this day, which just adds to his uniqueness and is an amazing story.
I can picture myself listening to the track when I need to be in my thoughts about my love life or just want to listen to a great inspirational musician that makes music.
The only problem I have now after listening to this musician and the track is that this is his debut track and he hasn’t got any other music out YET, And I really can’t wait to hear what else he comes out with in the future.
Real Man is out on all streaming platforms NOW, I want to Congratulate Manfred Man on a great debut track and inspiring me, I look forward to what the future holds

Lyrics ‘Mr Real’ by Manfred Inc
I feel I can be Mr Real
Baby you got me ill
Baby you give me Love
I feel baby you got me down
You say you know me long
Baby you give love
Baby you say you love me
You hold me and touch me
Oh, baby you give me love
I’ve got lots to tell you about myself
Baby, give me all
Show me what you’ve got
You give me all the love
Baby you can be mine
I know you like to laugh
You give me all the hugs
Baby you’re fine
You say you want to be
You always want to feel
Baby you make me crazy by now
Show me all the things you’ve got
Tell me all the things you want
Baby you’re mine
Awesome interview. Good luck for future songs Manfred
