Samuel and Luxe Agoris got to know each other by sharing their music and influences, which led to them deciding to work together on Samuel’s album and Luxe Agoris’s upcoming EPs & singles.
When referring to Luxe Agoris’s contribution to the new music, Samuel says “He is able to bring out the soulfulness in the melodies, create space between the sounds and expand the sonic range. It’s a treat to work with someone who understands the music I’m making.”
About ‘Days Go By’
In a similar way the lyrics reflect a boredom with the mundane, rethinking your reality and dreaming of a better way of living centred around love.
According to Samuel Miller it’s “A distant love at the centre, playing the part of all the things we once knew and enjoyed. I tried to capture the feeling of life being somewhat out of my control for a second.”
The single is accompanied by a music video shot by Marty Bleazard; a director and cinematographer who has created music videos for artists such as Tresor, Hersh, Major Lazer, Msaki, Louise Carver and many more.
Marty says he has wanted to work with Samuel for years, adding “I’ve always been a big fan and luckily got the chance to hang out and pitch an idea. We kept it simple, just the two of us on a beach at the right time of day, making something that I hope resonates the emotion of the song to the viewers.”
When asked about his approach to making music videos Bleazard says “Music videos need to be a passion project. You have unlimited creativity that you can put into the project and when you love the music and the stars align, you can make something that becomes iconic.”
Samuel Miller is a UK born artist and multi-instrumentalist with roots stretching around the world. He has created music in many styles over the years, performed around the world and is now set on creating honest music that stands the test of time.
