KAT Feat. Mark Haze- Tokyo
I must say I have been waiting for this day for quite some time now, A few months ago you would remember I did a review on a track called Tokyo by awesome multi-talented musician KAt, Feat Mark Haze (Read HERE), Welol the music video has just been released for that track and I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful yet interesting videos I have seen.
Kat is obviously a huge fan of Tokyo and in the song is longing to go to Tokyo, the video theme and visuals are surrounding a Tokyo feature and in my opinion brilliantly done.
The track itself is a break away from the pop-rock sound we normally know of KAT and is more of an EDM dance track but this just shows off the brilliant talent that Kat is and has, that she can jump around from genre to genre and do it so well.
Kat Colabs with Well known musician Mark Haze who not only plays guitar on the track but also produced the track like a few past tracks of Kat’s music, and he proves to be a vital part in the amazing songs and his presence is strongly felt on this track. Although an EDM dance track, Mark lends his talents in some awesome rock guitar solos which seem to just go so well with the EDM sounds, also seeing South Africa’s very own rock veteran and national treasure Mark Haze in the video is an awesome bonus of the video.
The whole video makes you think you are in Tokyo with great visuals and sites of Tokyo but if you have been following the social media of KAT, she has released some behind-the-scenes making of the video, and, a lot of the video was shot in a game arcade which I think is a good idea and really lends well to the Tokyo vibe somehow
One thing instantly noticeable is the cool bright Luminis colors throughout the video. One thing is for sure when Kat makes a music video, it is very evident of the thought and work that goes into it and every detail is thought of from the colors to the dress sense all lending itself well to the theme.
I would like to congratulate Kat, Mark Haze, and everyone who worked on this video, it truly is a masterpiece and although the song and video are about wanting to go to Tokyo, I am proudly South African when we have talented musicians such as Kat producing great music and videos such as this. Well done

Lyrics
Pretty little Japanese girls
Pizza buns, Sakura drinks, and Godzilla hotels
I’m feeling just too good
All alone I’m doing just fine
I could die it would be alright
Cause this city makes me feel so alive
You are all I want, you are all I want
I wanna go, I wanna go
I wanna go to Tokyo
Robots dance the mystery in
Space is horror Sixty sixes
8-bits of whiskey feeling just too good
Ginga is just so electric, going deaf you wanna panic
Feed me to a Ninja cause I’m so alive
You are all I want, you are all I want
I wanna go, I wanna go
I wanna go to Tokyo
You are all I want, you are all I want
I wanna go, I wanna go
I wanna go to Tokyo
You are all I want, you are all I want
