Cindy Louise- What You Made Me

It seems every time I write about this next musician, I always think to myself, if I were a woman, I would feel very empowered, I always feel her lyrics are very empowering and once again she has done that with her latest single, I am talking about none other than music extraordinaire, Cindy Louise.

Hot off the heels of her last single, Innocence, Cindy Louise is back with a 3 track EP namely What You Mean. going off the title track What You Made Me, which is track 2 of the EP, is also the lead single that I received the other day for radio submission and I can honestly say this track is amazing and as I mentioned earlier, gives me that sort of empowerment feeling.

Track 1 starting off the EP is a previously released track that has been released called Innocence which I can say did very well on the radio and it happens to be one of my favorite tracks along with a track called Outcast that Cindy has released also. I am glad Innocence has made it onto this EP because it is an amazing single, There is also a music video of the track which can be seen below

Track 3, the final track of the EP shows a bit more of an angry side of Cindy Louise with its name of the track, Nothing Hurts Anymore (Explicit lyrics), this also happens to be my favorite track off the EP, I love this version of Cindy Louise and the sound of this track, it starts mellow but builds into an angry song that says exactly what she feels she wants to say.
Erick Gerber Once again joins Cindy on guitar for this EP, he was also credited on the previous song Outcast, and to me, this partnership just seems like a match made in heaven their chemistry is not only noticeable but does just work
When I listen to Cindy’s music, particularly this EP, it’s hard for me to pigeonhole in a type of genre because I do hear a bit of everything creeping in, but If I were to describe her genre, (and this is only for getting the reader familiar purposes) I would say if 30 seconds to mars had a baby with Evannesence but was sleeping with Nightwish on the side, then just maybe we will get an understanding on the direction Cindy seems to be going with her sound, it has that theatrical element to it

I can picture myself listening to this track, when I need encouragement, when I feel like I have been thrown to the wolves but have that slight glimmer of hope where I will walk out victorious, this EP is made just for that. EMPOWERMENT

I would like to make mention of everyone who worked on the EP. you all did very well and you can be proud of the work and end product that is produced.
