“It’s a good old retro rock song. Inspired by that retro British mod culture sound & father of soul James Brown as well. It has a good groove/backbeat & bass line as well as overdriven guitars and a very catchy Merseybeat kind of melody/voice. I didn’t know what the lyrics were about when I was writing them but now looking back they’re about believing in yourself. They’re also psychedelic and they just sounded cool so they can mean anything you want ‘em to mean also haha. The music video for the song features the original Groucho’s Record shop which closed down in Dundee (now it’s cool a bar) I thought I’d pay homage to that legendary shop because without the records I bought in that shop at the time this song wouldn’t exist.” – Sean Findlay
