In this 80min cabaret, pianist and storyteller Christof Berg, takes the audience on an epic journey. From a small boy nurtured by a wise old Sotho woman on a mystical salt farm in the Freestate to an enchanting Bohemian world in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. He embarks on journeys to distant lands, in search of the place where the sun pours down like golden waterfalls. Berg is a seasoned artist who performed in more than 40 countries over the past two decades. The show is performed in a combination of English, Afrikaans and Sotho.
Christof Berg has mainly performed in English over the years. His first Afrikaans songs have been released between November 2023 and March 2024. For a glimpse into his music, here some videolinks:
