“’Go Again’ is my declaration to lean into positivity, to find strength in the storm, and to bring the sunshine, even when it’s raining. It’s a song for anyone who needs to remember that the obstacle is the way, the only way is through, and we must keep moving forward, one breath at a time,” says Jeremy.
This release follows “Dust Over Dunes,” which dropped on August 2nd and marked Jeremy Loops’ first new music in nearly two years. “Dust Over Dunes” was met with excitement from fans, eager to hear new material from the acclaimed artist.
The creation of “Go Again” took place in Jeremy’s Cape Town studio, where he collaborated with Edd Holloway (known for his work with Dean Lewis and Lewis Capaldi). The song was co-written and co-produced by both Jeremy and Holloway, with mixing by Will Reeves (Khalid, Stormzy, Olivia Dean).
“In a world turned upside down by pandemics, war, and division, writing music has felt like wrestling with shadows,” Jeremy reflects. “Many of the songs on my upcoming album speak to this journey. But ‘Go Again’ emerged as a beacon of hope, a song for those days when hope felt distant.”
His critically acclaimed albums—Trading Change (2014), Critical As Water (2018), and Heard You Got Love (2022)—have solidified his reputation, earning him accolades such as a Best Newcomer nomination at the South African Music Awards and MTV Africa’s Best Alternative & Pop Album. With over 400 million streams and extensive tours across Europe, Jeremy is one of South Africa’s most successful musical exports.
Beyond his music, Jeremy is also a passionate environmentalist and co-founder of Greenpop, an organization dedicated to environmental restoration and education. His commitment to sustainability and community engagement has earned him respect both as an artist and as a cultural advocate.
“Go Again” is available now on all major streaming platforms. As Jeremy Loops continues to share his unique sound with the world, fans can look forward to more new music and performances from the artist who has captivated audiences globally with his authentic storytelling and energetic live shows.
