‘GET LUCKY SUMMER’ IS BACK THIS SUMMER HOLIDAY SEASON!
Get Lucky Summer has just announced 10 concert dates kicking off in the Mother City with a BRAND NEW venue – Sunningdale Cricket Club on 7th December, then heading up to Plett and Knysna for the Summer holiday season. This year, they’ve knocked it out of the park with some of SA’s biggest acts: GOODLUCK, ZAKES BANTWINI, WILL LINLEY, THE PARLOTONES, PRIME CIRCLE, BOK VAN BLERK, JEREMY LOOPS, JESSE CLEGG & MUCH MORE!

GOODLUCK’S ICONIC SUMMER CONCERT SERIES SHARES A LINEUP OF SA’S BIGGEST ARTISTS FOR ITS 11TH YEAR RUNNING IN CAPE TOWN, & ACROSS THE GARDEN ROUTE!
FlySafair Get Lucky Summer recently announced the return of GoodLuck’s much-loved annual Summer residency and concert series this much-needed holiday season in Cape Town, Plettenberg Bay & Knysna!
This year the events will play host to the biggest line-up the Garden Route has ever seen including residents and live-electronic icons, GoodLuck, alongside some of their favourite acts, Zakes Bantwini, Will Linley, The Parlotones, Bok van Blerk, Prime Circle, Jeremy Loops, Jesse Clegg, Veranda Panda, and more.
With this WORLD CLASS lineup and a wonderful family-friendly, picnic, concert environment, Get Lucky Summer promises to be the place to connect with friends and family this holiday season.
Another exciting development is the addition of an Afrikaans music celebration called SOMER LIED which will be taking place at Plett Robberg Rugby Veld on the 30th of December as well as Knysna Skool Veld, on NYE – 31st December 2024, featuring headliner performances by Bok Van Blerk, Jo Black and Whilma Van Heerdan!
GoodLuck also just announced the highly anticipated return of their Plett New Year’s Eve Concert featuring performances by GoodLuck, Jesse Clegg, Rubber Duc, and newcomers Saxby Twins – with more acts to be announced soon! With a full beer garden, delicious food truck market and some super fun beach sports… this NYE promises to be the BEST Plett has ever seen!

Not only do the Get Lucky Summer events celebrate South Africa’s best musical talent – they also host delicious food trucks, bar areas & a relaxing environment for a festive, family experience set in the most beautiful locations in the country.
“This year we are going back to our roots and our ‘why’” says event organiser Ben Peters “Get Lucky Summer is the one place that families and friends can come together over the holiday season, to share in a beautiful celebration of music, friendship and life! It is the one concert where you will see a 3-year-old riding on the shoulders of his 21-year-old cousin, who is dancing hand-in-hand with their 75-year-old grandmother! It’s a very special festival series. We are also super proud to be creating a platform where live music concert culture can be celebrated and expanded”, says event organizer, Ben Peters.
